Tammi Brown – Singer /songwriter
Tammi Brown is currently a vocalist in the two-time Grammy Award nominated Vocal Ensemble The Cultural Heritage Choir led by the Legendary, Linda Tillery. Her musical journey has taken her to many stages in over 10 countries including solo performances at the famous Apollo Theater in Harlem, New York, The Monterey Jazz and Blues Festivals, Abbey De Boscodon in Crots, France, and many more. Recently, Tammi was selected to be ‘The Voice’ of the New Jazzbook Series produced by Albert Greenberg. Ms. Brown also performs with the world renowned Jazz guitarist, Stanley Jordan, and provided her vocals on “Steppin’ Out” on his “State of Nature” record, which received a 51st Grammy Award nomination. In addition, she was selected to perform in the ‘Tribute to Quincy Jones’ at the 59th Monterey Jazz Festival as well as the Hollywood Bowl in Hollywood, California alongside the legendary, Valerie Simpson – directed by Quincy Jones and John Clayton. Tammi has shared the stage with many distinguished Artists including Renaissance Poet, Dr. Maya Angelou and prominent Folk singer, Joan Baez.
